THE STORY BEHIND THE ARTWORK
Kristjana’s contemporary take on St. Valentine. St. Valentine is synonymous with love but has a lesser known patronage of bee keepers; this heart is encased in honeycomb dripping with that sweetest of nature’s treats. To elevate the decadence, the heart is piled high with cake and studded with red fruit which nestle against a Fortnum and Mason hue of teal blue. Milk pots offer sustenance and a bonded pair of dogs hold each other’s gaze signifying loyalty.
 
This artwork forms one of a complementary pair which look stunning when hung together. Complete the pair.
