'Paint chip' series of originals.This Scandinavian brand is arguably responsible for the cult like popularity of ‘millennial pink’, a complex and androgynous beige toned pink. This distinctive colour together with the faceted white lettering on its logo make its strong packaging an appealing work of art. The brand was started in 1996 by Jonny Johansson, hence the year chosen as the paint ‘code’. ‘Acne’ is an acronym for Ambition to Create Novel Expression – much like this statement artwork.
